Heaven? Whaaaat?

Have you ever met someone who asked you, ‘If you’ll die today, do you think you’ll go to heaven?’

What’s your usual response?

And if you haven’t experience it yet, what probably be your response?

There is a common response, ‘Who cares?’ Well, that’s fine.

Whatever your response–it defines your place.

Either in Heaven or in Hell.

Anyway, may I ask you…

‘If you’ll die today, how many people will remember you?’

Maybe, there will be your family, your friends, your 1,000 facebook friends.

But they will remember you as?

A person who CHEATS, LIES, STEALS, GOSSIPS…

I’m sorry for the words but I have to shake the sky.

One more thing, how many do you inspire?

One, Two, Three…

But are you sure it is INSPIRATIONAL?

Hey! You want people to remember you as a person of LOVE, HUMILITY, GENEROSITY, HONESTY etc. And that they will remember the time when you made them feel important.

It’s time to wake up!

Next Question.

If the doctor will say to you.. ‘You only have a month to live.’

What will you respond?

What will you do with that one month?

Instead of blaming the world, ‘Why me? Why not the criminals? Why not the dogs?’

Why don’t you just sit and HOPE? PRAY and BELIEVE?

Say ‘I love you,’ to your father, to your mother, to your brothers and sisters? To your friends, and even to your enemy?

LIFE IS SHORT.

I had a friend who is kind to me. We often talk almost about everything. One time, we talked with some of our friends that we’ll have a PALUWAGAN.

We all have different purposes… for me, I wanted to shop.

Then I asked my friend, ‘What’s your plan for the money you’ll take?”

He replied, “I want to celebrate my birthday this January.”

It was August that month. So there’s still 6 more months to earn.

One day, as I was reading the book A Time to Kill by John Grisham.. something like a gunshot exploded in my friend’s house. I went out, then shouts escaped out their house… It was their Aunt. She was calling us, telling us repeatedly the name of my friend. Then I ran to bring everyone in the house out. The tension was so frightening. My father went to see my friend. He told me to run to the police. So I did. Then, I did not go inside. I didn’t want to see him. I didn’t…

He killed himself.

I witnessed his mother running towards my friend. She’s moaning. I saw the pain. I felt the pain. It was grieving.

Then, today, anytime, anywhere… I remember his smiles. His jokes. I remember the time he made US feel important.

You don’t know what will happen tomorrow. You don’t even know what will happen the next minutes of your life. You don’t know.

LIFE IS SHORT BUT NOT TOO SHORT TO DO GOOD.

Another friend of mine asked us (to me and to some students), ‘What if you’ll not wake up the next morning?’ He looked at us… seriously… then he continued, ‘God gave your life and He can take it away.’

Finally, I just want to clarify something…

HEAVEN AND HELL TALKS ABOUT LIFE AND DEATH.

The very first question, ‘If you’ll die today, do you think you’ll go to heaven?’ is a question you should start to answer right now.

We only have ONE LIFE TO LIVE and we ought to spend it in doing what is right.

I don’t mean to scare you. I am telling this to share a point.

HEAVEN OR HELL IS A DECISION YOU HAVE TO MAKE WHILE YOU’RE STILL BREATHING.

You cannot decide on Eternity but you can decide on Earth.

Remember, your decision echoes in Eternity.

Heaven or Hell?
